Selling a home can be one of the most trying experiences in life. Selling our Piedmont home while we lived over 2000 miles away should have been many times more stressful. We were extremely fortunate, however, to have Debbi DiMaggio as our sales representative. In buying and selling our last 5 homes, Debbi stands alone as the best representative we’ve ever worked with. Planning: Debbi worked closely with us to plan our sales strategy. She provided us with regular updates on the sales activity in the area and helped us determine the right approach for us. She was also a great coach and advisor on how to spend our money most effectively.
Preparation: Despite living across country, we were able to meet face to face twice during the preparation phase. After we agreed on the major upgrades, she arranged to have an entire crew of professionals meet us during week one. During this time, we agreed on which contractors would do what work.
Transformation: Debbi managed the end to end upgrade process for an entire 5 weeks. She personally made a dozen trips to various supply stores to pick up just the right appliances and details. Her attention to detail really paid off as we visited the house the second time for the final inspections and walkthrough. We partnered real time on all critical decisions. We couldn’t believe how flawlessly she managed the transformation in such a short amount of time.
Showing: One of Debbi’s wonderful contacts was Kelly Banks of Designing Women Interiors. Together, they provided an incredible consulting and staging service to accentuate and highlight the beauty of the home. Over the four weeks the house was on the market, Debbi made us feel like we were her only clients. She communicated with us daily (and many times more) so we could gain insight into how our strategy was being implemented.
Selling: Despite the housing market being the worse in decades, Debbi’s efforts helped us achieve four competitive offers after four weeks. She helped us navigate through the entire process and with her knowledge and expertise, helped us close the home without a hitch.
